Darfur and Why Shoebonk is the man...

The current Genocide in Darfur has clamied the lives of over 200,000 innocent people. The Sudanese government has gone against their people and brutally murdered many people, and the UN has been trying to take control for many years now, and many benefits have been held in its honor.

Northeast- People in the Northeast are known for being very impatient and arrogent to anyone else in america.

Southeast- People in the southeast are known for having those thick southeren accents, and they seem to have a knack for listening to bands such as lynard skynard.

West- People in the West are known for their laid feel, such as california, people are seen as hippy drug users

Midwest- People in the Midewest are known for farming and being out of the loop of socitey in my opinion haha

Southwest- Illegal immigrants, enough said.

Blog 2, my favorite place

My favorite place in the world has to be New York City, I spend a lot of my free time in the city with my friends. I generally hang out between 14th Street (Union Square) and 42nd street... go figure.

The reason that New York is my favorite place to be is because the energy is always there, making everyone and everything exciting. I also really enjoy the music and the arts that are in Union Square.

If anyone ever goes to the city... Union square is the place to go : )

For starters I am a senior here at Westwood High School, I enjoy music and traveling anywhere I can. I chose this course because I found it odd that a class like geography was taught at such a high level in highschool. I remember being in 7th grade and learning about Geography, so learning this on a more insightful level and getting more in depth with all of the material we have to learn i found it exciting.
